Decantur Brings a Total Wine Experience to DC Ranch Crossing

An exciting new concept in wine is coming to DC Ranch, thanks to the passion of husband and wife team, William and Debra McDermott. Known as Decantur Winery at DC Ranch, they have created a unique experience that will immerse guests into the winemaking world and expand their enjoyment, education and knowledge of wine.

At the heart of it all? The couple’s desire to bring people together to relax and raise a glass.

“This will be a special place where you can gather with neighbors, friends and family and enjoy, appreciate and experience a healthy and happy wine lifestyle,” says Debra.

William and Debra have both enjoyed successful executive careers in IT-related fields, working with companies like IBM and Siemens. The couple is now excited to add the realization of their dream to share their love of wine with people in the beautiful setting of DC Ranch.

“We’re thrilled to launch Decantur, and DC Ranch is the perfect location for this very unique concept,” she adds.

Featuring high quality wines at affordable prices, Decantur will offer white, red, specialty, fruit, and sparkling, wine – many of which will be bottled right on the premises. A light, healthy culinary menu will complement the wine selection.

Much more than a wine bar, Decantur Winery at DC Ranch will offer education on wine pairings, wine varieties, and fermentation techniques. Wine tastings and other educational events will reveal the sights, smells, touches, and tastes of wine that might otherwise go undetected. Most uniquely, Decantur will offer the ability to make batches of your own wine and design your own wine label.

Decantur Winery at DC Ranch will truly embody the complete wine experience, and it’s right around the corner. Located inside DC Ranch Crossing, William and Debra invite you to come by with friends to take a break from everyday life at Decantur this November.
