Life’s a Little Sweeter at Sugar Me Wax

When Brigham Dallas opened his first Sugar Me Wax location in 2015 at just 27 years of age, he didn’t realize he was about to disrupt the Brazilian wax industry in the Valley of the Sun.

“I saw an opportunity to set the bar higher,” Dallas said. “We started by creating a friendly, accommodating, well-designed salon. Next, we recruited highly skilled, seasoned aestheticians and established a membership program to reward our loyal customers.”

For the uninitiated, ‘sugaring’ is a hair removal technique that utilizes a paste made from just 3 ingredients: sugar, citric acid, and water. It can be a gentler process than wax for removal of hair down to the root, especially for those with tender, sensitive skin. Sugar Me Wax also offers traditional waxing for coarse or thick hair.

“About 15% of our clients are men, but the majority are health-conscious women between 20 and 50 years old, who are looking for a smooth, sleek, confident appearance,” he said.

Sugar Me Wax offers an extensive menu of services for the full body, including brow shaping and tinting. According to Dallas, waxing lasts for a month, as the hair growth cycle is 28 days. Their membership program encourages clients to return on a regular schedule, at prices that aren’t replicated anywhere else in the Valley.
